Parking available on campus for contractors. VSU - ServiceNow Developer. A ServiceNow developer is required to develop, test and deploy service request forms and workflow. Day to Day: Develop, maintain, and enhance service request applications on the ServiceNow platform to automate and improve business processes Develop test cases for functional, UAT testing, resolution of reported defects and perform integration testing using sample data Troubleshoot technical issues through all phases of SDLC Collaborate with the project manager to establish timelines, specifications, and budget Implement and monitor changes to ensure a smooth transition Conduct staff training on new procedures Provide regular updates on project status to supervisors Skills Required/Desired: - Expertise level understanding of ServiceNow Platform & its capabilities are required.- Required, 3 Years - Good understanding of service-oriented architecture, software application architecture, and the ability to consult with customers about these topics- Required, 3 Years - Exp w/ ServiceNow Platform/Software appl- Required, 3 Years - Experience developing test scripts and plans- Required, 3 Years - Self-motivator with the ability to work through stakeholder requests which may have high ambiguity- Required, 3 Years - Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field- Required, 3 Years - Strong focus on code quality and reusability- Required, 3 Years - Outstanding critical thinking, communications, and personal interaction skills- Required, 3 Years - Understanding of restful web services.- Required, 3 Years If selected, this role requires TWO days ON SITE from Day 1.
