Overview The following job description has been drafted for a UX Architect resource. The UX Architect is a senior leader with deep experience in all facets of UX and UI Design. The UX Architect will have 7-10 years experience in concepting, solutioning, and executing complex UX and UI engagements encompassing all facets of user centered design. The UX Architect will have expertise working with customer stakeholders across many roles, and has experience creating, sharing, and driving the vision for innovative user centered design solutions. Your previous experience as an interaction or web designer is a critical foundation to your roles as a UX Designer, where you will: Leads all UX/UI resources through all stages of an engagement. Leads and participates in business development and opportunity responses. Engages with customers and stakeholders to create strategy, understand, clarify and define scope and requirements for new engagements, and to concept and pitch solutions. Plan and present Discovery, Design Thinking and other types of workshops to customers and prospects. Provide thought leadership on usability and user-centered design principles and understand when situations require deviating from those principles. Incorporate best practices of human-centered design, understanding the relationships between peoples behaviors and digital products. Have extensive experience in B2B solutions Have extensive experience in designing data driven solutions The UX Architect has excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills. You are able to speak on key CX concepts, methods, best practices, approaches, industry changes and are comfortable presenting to existing and prospective customers. You are able to present, explain and defend wireframes/prototypes, diagrams, and user flows to team members. Your experience enables you to work well within Agile project development environments. Required skills: Capacity to think holistically across product(s). Deep experience across all facets of User Research, Interaction Design and Usability Testing Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Ability to speak and present on a number of design-related topics. Deep experience across multiple digital channels and solutions. Ability to stay current, knowledgeable and present on latest best practices, trends and standards in design. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams. Excellent self-management skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Excellent portfolio with demonstrated examples of designing excellent user-centered experiences and applications, including examples of work-in-progress illustrating your approach, thinking and process.
