Job Description: Required 8+ experience At least 3 years of experience in PostgreSQL Database Administration on Linux including: Installation, configuration, and maintenance Performance troubleshooting and database tuning Replication and high availability Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/pgSQL and ability to analyze/debug stored procedures, functions & triggers. Knowledge of database design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics, and isolation levels Experience with database migration, preferably from Sybase to Postgres is desirable. Experience with Postgres Client interface drivers and installation Strong Unix/Linux knowledge and experience in Unix scripting, Python programming is desirable.
