This person will be coming in mid-project and working on a team of 3 plus a PM. Must have experience doing this type of work at other institutions. Job Description This Company, a data science and consumer insights company, is seeking an experienced IAM (Identity and Access Management) Engineer to join our talented team. As an IAM Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust identity and access management solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide expertise in IAM technologies, with a particular focus on Okta, OIDC, and authentication proxies. Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus. Institutional experience in IAM, with a strong focus on Okta, OIDC, and authentication proxies. In-depth knowledge of identity and access management principles, protocols, and technologies. Experience with implementing and managing IAM solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment. Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (e.g., Python, Power) for IAM-related tasks. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their IAM capabilities. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot technical issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Design and implement end-to-end identity and access management solutions using Okta, OIDC, and authentication proxies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective IAM solutions. Develop and maintain IAM policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of The Co,[pany's systems and data. Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities and compliance gaps in IAM systems. Integrate IAM solutions with existing systems and applications, ensuring seamless authentication and authorization processes. Troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM issues, working closely with the IT and security teams. Stay up to date with the latest IAM technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for process improvements.
