Role: UX Designer Location: Louisville, KY (Permanent remote) Duration: 6+ Months Contract Experience level: 7+ years Description: The User Experience (UX) Designer designs layouts, mock-ups & provides timely and creative solutions to end-user computer interactions of a complex nature to ensure end-user productivity. The Designer work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. Maintains accurate information and data regarding end-user experiences and preferences. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 5 years of experience as UX Designer Strong understanding of interaction design principles and current global UI/design pattern standards Experience designing with business, technical and design guideline constraints. Experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated experience in defining research criteria, leading or participating in user research and translating user research into design decisions. Experience creating interactive prototypes. Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences. Preferred Qualification: Ability to be flexible in a very fluid and dynamic environment. Must be extremely well organized and capable of handling multiple (and sometime conflicting) priorities. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
