Position: Python Developer with 3GPP (Wireless) Location: Austin, TX and Cupertino, CA (DAYONE ONSITE) Duration: 6+ Months JOB DESCRIPTION: YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 8 to 10 Years Field Design Engineering have an existing application that analyzes logs from field testing. That tool is currently supported by a vendor & Apples in-house engineers. They have a major new feature request (driven by some new tech in an upcoming Apple device) that needs additional capability for the tool to add analysis features of a specific type of baseband and it requires someone with a combination of Python + 3GPP (wireless) knowledge. They have teams in. So, any of these locations are ok. They are looking for about 3 engineers. Must: Expertise in Core Python(Data Structures, OOPs, Data types, File Handling, Exception Handling, Generators, Iterators, Multi-Threading etc) Good hold on Python Statistical libraries (Ex. One or more of Numpy, Scipy, Scikit etc) Experience with Python GUI programming ( Ex. One or more of PyQT, TkInter etc) Experience with Database interaction (Ex. SQL Lite) Experience with ORM(Object relationship mappers) libraries. Ability to translate the Wireless Cellular Technology Protocol knowledge into requirements & working code Strong knowledge of LTE Technology and the different control layers (L1, RLC, RRC, NAS) as well as data plane protocols. Experience in 5G (NSA & SA) is a strong plus. Good to Have: Familiarity with Web frameworks such as Django, Flask. Understanding of Multi-Process Architecture. Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 Understanding of applying Data Science and ML paradigm in Python Please send me below details ASAP .
