Position : Active Directory and Citrix Engineer Location : Atlanta, GA ( Day 1 Onsite ) Type of hire: Contract Job description: Minimum exp should be 11+ years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Active Directory and Citrix Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Active Directory infrastructure and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environment. Your expertise in both Active Directory and Citrix technologies will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our systems. Responsibilities: Design, deploy, configure, and manage the Active Directory infrastructure, including domain controllers, group policies, and user authentication. Implement and maintain a secure and scalable Active Directory environment, ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops solutions that align with business needs. Deploy and manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops infrastructure, including provisioning, application delivery, and user profile management. Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and availability of the Citrix environment, addressing any issues that arise. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems related to Active Directory and Citrix components, ensuring minimal impact on end users. Implement and enforce security measures to protect the Active Directory and Citrix environments, including access controls, authentication, and data integrity. Provide technical guidance and support to end users, assisting with Active Directory and Citrix-related inquiries and issues. Collaborate with the IT team to develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Active Directory and Citrix technologies, evaluating their potential impact and recommending improvements. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Proven experience as an Active Directory and Citrix Engineer, with a focus on managing and optimizing Active Directory infrastructure and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
