We need a senior resource who is a very good communicator and has AWS Architect certifications. They need to have several years of AWS architecture experience. The project is a lift and shift from a monolithic application to a modernized micro-services application. Would like the person to have some prior development background and experience with Java. Would like someone who is not just on the infrastructure side but has also modernized a development application and has heavy AWS expertise. This is not a cloud transformation project, and they already use AWS and have been for a while. Thanks AWS Architect with at least 2 AWS certifications or more specifically with architecture (application architecture and design - and AWS development experience) Duration is long term. 6 months+ to start with the possibility of becoming an FTE. Must have proven track record in AWS application architecture and design. In addition, ideally the candidate would have experience with Java and of course Microservices. That said, the AWS experience is most critical. The project / effort will be helping us modernize our technology stack. We have a very traditional Java (monolithic) application, and we are going to want to transform it over time to be decoupled into smaller components - and supporting the concept of micro front end with macro/microservices back end. Right now, our application is way too stateful - so we are trying to move it to a stateless and perhaps serverless (using either API Gateway with Lambda or Fargate (Containers). If a person has interest in contract to hire, salary would be around 180K in future if mutual interest on both sides.
