Duties include: - maintain IBM MQ infrastructure vv: 8.x - 9.x - design, installation, maintenance, monitoring. - Troubleshooting and resolving problems related to IBM MQ. - Build new IBM MQ servers when needed. - Maintain IBM MQ Appliances - schedule, design and migrate existing queue managers to the appliances. - troubleshooting and resolving problems related to IBM MQ Appliance. - Consult and coordinate activities with other IT and business units.; - Understand required configurations, including HA and Business Continuity. - Monitor, manage, and tune platforms for availability and performance. - Implement releases, upgrades, and/or changes into the environment. - Provide oncall 24x7 support, as needed. - Determine software support requirements. - Provide technical support for MQ, as needed, to the enterprise and in house projects. - Coordination with the developers, MQ Vendor, and other internal units. - Maintain infrastructure related documentation. - May perform other MQ related and not related support duties and assignments.
