Position: OpenStack Developer Location: REMOTE Duration: 6+ Months NO OPT NEED PP NUMBER or RECENT i94 JOB DESCRIPTION: NOTE: We need candidate with Data Center Experience. Should have hands on experience of 10 to 15 years. Software Development: Designing, coding, testing, and debugging software modules or components within the OpenStack platform. This involves writing efficient and maintainable code using programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go. OpenStack Framework: Working with the various components of the OpenStack framework, including Nova (compute), Neutron (networking), Cinder (block storage), Glance (image service), Keystone (identity service), and other related projects. Integration and Customization: Integrating OpenStack with other systems or platforms and customizing the framework to meet specific business or project requirements. This may involve developing APIs, plugins, or extensions. Infrastructure Automation: Automating deployment, configuration, and management of OpenStack infrastructure using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Ensuring efficient resource allocation, scalability, and high availability of OpenStack services. Troubleshooting and Support: Identifying and resolving issues related to the OpenStack environment, including performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and system failures. Providing technical support to users, administrators, and other stakeholders. Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, system administrators, and network engineers, to gather requirements and develop solutions. Documenting software designs, code changes, and operational procedures. Open Source Community Involvement: Participating in the OpenStack open-source community by contributing code, reviewing patches, attending conferences, and staying updated with the latest developments and best practices. Security and Compliance: Ensuring the security and compliance of OpenStack deployments by implementing best practices, following industry standards, and addressing vulnerabilities in a timely manner. Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD): Implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment of OpenStack software. Working with tools like Jenkins, Git, and Gerrit.
