Top 3 Must Have Skills: 6-7 years minimum of Tableau experience with some experience within a healthcare payer (ideally Blue Cross Blue Shield) environment. Degree in mathematics, computer science, information systems, or related field. Strong experience in both SQL and Microsoft Excel for manipulating and analyzing data as part of dashboard creation and business intelligence functions. o The Business Intelligence Tableau Developer will develop, maintain, and manage Tableau-driven dashboards and analytics by leveraging their working knowledge of Tableau administration and architecture within a healthcare payer environment. What Youll Get to Do: Understand business requirements and plan solutions to address data needs. Partner with IT teams and business professionals to establish data-driven policies and strategies across the organization. Develop, design, and maintain Tableau dashboards and analytics. Collect, refine, and prepare data for analytics and visualization. Manage and utilize the Tableau platform to extract meaningful insights from it. Prepare reports using various visualization and data modeling methods. Define new KPIs and consistently measure in the datasets. Collect data from various sources and normalize data. Test and publish dashboards and reports and schedule refresh. Define access controls and implement security measures whenever required. Drill-down data and prepare reports with utmost accuracy. Create operational dashboards with a focus on user experience, correctness, and visibility. Improve process of data management, collection, dashboard design within the product lifecycle. Apply algorithms and statistical methods to obtain answers from data. Solve any data or performance issues related to workbooks and data sources. Monitor reports and dashboards and make necessary changes. Manage Tableau-driven implementations, architecture, and administration. Actively manage the performance and usability of Tableau to get the desired result. Create visualizations for the data extracted with Tableau tool. Identify patterns and meaningful insights from data by analyzing it. Design dashboards and manage Tableau Server. Optimize SQL queries to improve performance. Examine glitches in business processes and resolving them. Find the key areas of automation to make the business processes smooth. Develop reference documents or reports for the finalized project. Work with offshore team and manage the overall making sure tasks are getting done project (no direct management over resources). Youll Bring these Qualifications: 6-7 years minimum of Tableau experience. Prior experience working within the healthcare payer (i.e., health insurance) industry. Degree in mathematics, computer science, information systems, or related field. Relevant work experience. A solid understanding of SQL, rational databases, and normalization. Proficiency in use of query and reporting analysis tools. Competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.). Extensive experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture.
