Must have 10/10 comm. skills and be able to handle any technical question they throw at him/her. If it is on the resume, they better be able to explain what they did with it. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the team to upgrade and optimize existing build systems by implementing cloud-hosted build solutions such as GitHub Actions and AWS Code Pipelines. Integrate and streamline existing processes to create robust end-to-end build processes that encompass infrastructure as code (IaC) and application deployments. Employ industry best practices in engineering, code lifecycle management, and testing to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the build systems. Actively contribute to the design and implementation of automated deployment pipelines, leveraging your expertise in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) methodologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions. Demonstrated expertise in implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI). Solid programming and scripting skills including but not limited to terraform. Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker Swarm, Amazon ECS, Kubernetes). Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including knowledge of their respective services and deployment practices. Proficient in version control systems (e.g., Git) and code repositories (e.g., Bitbucket, GitHub). Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively in a self-directed fast-paced, collaborative environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
