Job Title: Workday Financials Analyst Location: Fully Remote anywhere in EST or CST time zones Duration: 6 months contract - interview within week Job Description: Must be proficient Techno Functional. Financials - reporting and integration. Serve as companys subject matter expert (SME) and lead business process design and system configuration specialist for Workday Financials. Provide design expertise regarding current and future state business process design and makes recommendations to streamline processes in an efficient and compliant manner. Configure, test and deploy system changes. Responsibilities Serve as SME for Workday Financials business process design and configuration. Work closely with Finance, IT and business representatives to determine user and business needs, and design business processes that automate and streamline in a compliant manner. Maintain supervisory org, location and cost center hierarchies as well as position management process. Provide support in determining and testing security roles. Configure and implement business process upgrades and system enhancements, lead testing and data validations, maintain data integrity, and ensure that overall system performance is aligned with business objectives. Develop, edit, test and deploy reports to support business needs. Coordinate with external support resources to develop new interfaces and other modifications as identified by business users. Assist in developing data audits and providing day-to-day system maintenance to monitor and maintain data accuracy. Develop, recommend and test key metrics to assess business performance. Coordinate with external support resources to troubleshoot and resolve reported issues to ensure timely resolution. Coordinate the testing of new releases and upgrades with external support resources. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required. Solid understanding of Workday Financials application functionality and business process configuration. Minimum of 2 years of Workday Financials configuration experience. Familiarity with integrations (WD Studio, core connectors). Familiarity with SOX and its implications on configurations and reports. Identifies key barriers and applies problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Ability to effectively communicate on complex issues with a high level of effectiveness. Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple work assignments and priorities with urgent deadlines, maintaining excellent customer service skills, while working in a fast-paced team environment.
