PositionSummary : SupportMontgomery Countys Department of Technology Services program to deploy T1carrier, wide area networking (WAN) and local area network (LAN) infrastructureservices to deliver voice, video and data applications to Montgomery CountyGovernment and County Agency offices. This is an ON-SITE position in Rockville,MD for one year with likelihood of extension. Responsibilities: Deploy WAN/LAN infrastructure. Required 10 years of experience with internetworking physical layer technologies. 10 years of experience with the implementation and support of wireless technologies and standards. 10 years of experience with the implementation and support of optical networking, including PON and DWDM technologies. 10 years of experience with the implementation and support of Cisco routers and switches in an Enterprise environment. 10 years of acquired knowledge of basic power distribution and protection systems. 10 years of expert knowledge and experience with data communications technologies including TCP/IP networking.
