We are seeking a contractor to support execution of our people and process excellence initiatives for our Collins Aerospace Engineering organization. The Enterprise Engineering Capabilities Engineering organization is looking for a contractor to perform the following responsibilities: Leads development and release of engineering policy and procedures Supports technical subject matter experts with creation of engineering policies and procedures Works with cross-functional subject matter experts to create technical standards Develops meeting agendas and leads working groups for new process initiatives Leads creation of communications and knowledge management content (wiki, training) to promote new processes Supports initiatives for process improvement for overall project execution excellence using lean tools Leads policy and process improvement and optimization initiatives using Lean Tools Skills and Experience: Experience with development of Quality Management System policy and procedures Experience working on aerospace and defense product development teams and/or managing technical projects. Experience leading continuous improvement events and applying Lean to improving processes Ability to communicate and present information at all organizational levels, from executive leadership to entry-level engineers Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, well-organized are a must! Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience with Collins Management System.
