Project Descriptions Wireless Network Access Point Upgrade: Replacement of all wireless access points throughout the campus with new Aruba wireless access points consistent with the current standards, a post-replacement survey of wireless coverage, and remediation of coverage gaps per the survey results. All aspects of the installation will be coordinated and communicated with clinical staff, administration, DTS resources, and vendor resources. HMH will provide project management, device configuration, and communications. A vendor has been engaged to perform the actual installation of the devices. This project will require a full-time on-site presence at HUMC. Most of the work will be performed during business hours, but some nights and weekends will be required. Cellular DAS Installation: Installation of cellular DAS infrastructure throughout the campus. This project will be vendor-staffed and vendor-managed. The HMH project manager will be the primary point of contact for the vendor. He/she will be responsible for tracking the vendor's progress against the approved project plan and providing status to the project team and sponsors. HMH Unified Communications team members may be engaged as advisors for their knowledge of the facility. Installation of OR Overhead Paging System: This project will be vendor-staffed and vendor-managed. The HMH project manager will be the primary point of contact for the vendor. He/she will be responsible for tracking the vendor's progress against the approved project plan and providing status to the project team and sponsors. HMH Unified Communications team members may be engaged as advisors for their knowledge of the facility and to implement integration with the Cisco Call Manager solution. All work will be performed on weekends. Required Skills: Experienced project manager with basic knowledge of network technology and an understanding of hospital operations/criticality of levels of care. Obsessive attention to detailed planning, tracking, and communication. Excellent communication skills.
