Identity and Access Management (IAM) Enginee r Work location Ideal: Remote from Tallahassee, FL (Candidate will need to go onsite for meetings 1x/month.) **Candidates can also live within a commutable distance (up to 3 hours). Background Check Required Prior to hire, applicants must pass a Criminal Background check. We just spoke with our client and after evaluation, their focus has changed and realized that they need more of an engineer than an analyst. They are in need of a technical resource (5+ years) with the following skills: Experience with Java development Strong experience with Application Management, WebLogic Management, and Server Management Strong technical skills debugging, upgrading IAM, patching and hands on API building experience (able to write code to develop API's) Strong SQL experience along with oracle. While they will consider a strong remote candidate who meets their requirements, their preference is someone who is willing to relocate or can drive to Tallahassee (zip code 32301) within 3 hours for any onsite work. This position will provide technical support, problem resolution and maintenance for the various systems supporting identity and access management and authentication services. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other appropriate degree and four years of experience or a combination of appropriate post high school education and experience equal to 5-7 years. Responsibilities Provides operational support for Identity and Access Management (IAM) related business processes and its related data integration between the source systems, the enterprise identity management system, and others. Works with multiple technical areas to identify, resolve, and mitigate issues with identity and access management including identity creation and maintenance, Single Sign-on (SSO), Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) and provisioning/deprovisioning internal and external systems. Modifies associated code, configuration and other applicable elements to modify system behavior in support of client initiatives as necessary. Utilizes various scripting languages and interfaces as required by individual systems to perform necessary modifications. Analyzes requests for modifications, configuration changes, enhancements and/or workarounds as necessary and contributes to ongoing improvements and enhancements of clients Identity Management and Authentication systems and business processes as they relate to enterprise identity and access management and authentication. Works proactively with business analysts, functional owners, and data owners to address opportunities for increased efficiencies and provide solutions for recurring issues. Follows established procedures for testing and migration of fixes. Provides clear and sufficient documentation of issues and subsequent resolutions; updates tickets and cases.
