From: Abhishek Singh, KK Associates [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Roles & Responsibilities Provide functional and technical expertise in various aspects of OT/DERMS/DRMS implementations such as solution architecture, initial system design, requirements and gap analysis and system implementation support. Educate customer on DERMS, lead electric utilities initiative of DERMS system planning, implementation, testing and operation activities. Use relevant utility experience to engage with client utilities to understand their specific applications, approaches, and methodologies in Electric Distribution Operational systems. Responsible to conduct functional and business requirement workshops with stakeholder and OEM (Product vendor). Responsible for solution design, documentation, planning, implementation, vendor management, testing and acceptance Work with Business to understand functional issues and solve the same by providing workaround. Support business requirements definition, request for proposal development and vendor evaluation. Support business development with utility clients in the DERMS/OT Systems requirements. Experience working in Transmission and Distribution domain of electric Utilities Basic understanding of FERC regulatory requirements and electricity utility business process. Experience Required 10+ Years Technical Skills At least 5 years of experience in working (implementation/support) on a DERMS/DER (Distributed Energy Resource Management System) of any products DERMS COTS product (Schneider, GE, ABB, mPrest, OATI) Deep knowledge of Solution and System Architecture concepts, IT/Computing Infrastructure, Telemetry infrastructure and protocols, RTUs/PLCs, User Interface and Situational Awareness Trends, Information Storage and Retrieval technologies, and Operational Data Historian Understanding of electricity generation, distributed generation, energy storage, and the controls associate with each Assess effectiveness of clients use of tools, applications, processes to adapt to new OT applications for solution areas such as DERMS/DRMS/ADMS/OMS/SCADA Strong Understanding of DER, DERMS, EV requirements Ability to understand Business requirement and Business Requirements mapping to functional design Understanding of integration technologies used in OT-IT space. Knowledge of cloud technology (Azure, AWS) Strong analytical and communication skills. Working knowledge of Software development methodologies like waterfall, Agile Ability to validate alignment of Data, Integration, and test requirements Ability to work in an Onshore/Offshore global delivery model Keywords: information technology |
