Experience and Education: 

Responsibilities: 

Responsible for managing the lifecycle of all ticketed problems.

May mentor other system administrators during simple to moderately complex and relative sized projects.

Performs system upgrades, configuration and customizations including planning and scheduling, implementation testing, and coordination.

Monitors and maintains system performance and functionality, software licensing and maintenance agreements.

Partners with other technical teams to identify and understand systems requirements for Manage Engine Implementations.

Document all incidents and changes in IT Service Management system to meet or exceed SLAs.

Perform user account administration, account creation and management and password resets in Active Directory.

Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical issues within the desktop and server environment.

Operates within, enforces, and suggests modifications and additions to desktop standards and guidelines.

Develop sound understanding of IT operations and related applications and IT systems as well as business related processes and procedures.

Maintain adequate knowledge of operating systems and application software used to provide a high level of support.

Monitors the assigned network, ensuring optimal function and minimal downtime.

Monitors and analyzes network load including traffic and utilization trends.

Ensures networks are protected from physical harm, viruses, unauthorized users, and damage to data by developing and monitoring security procedures or collaborating with network security staff.

Drafts checklists, processes, and support trees, and knowledge bases for help desk and other support staff.

Create reports or template mock-ups and requirements based on enterprise reporting needs.

Understand business and system processes. Analyze different business metrics and conduct gap analysis and process optimization.

Recommend out-of-the-box vs custom solutions for new features or product enhancements.

Required 
Skills:

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

5 or more years' experience in ITSM suite technologies (BSM Remedy, Manage Engine, Ivanti, Calabrio WFM, Service Now, Fresh Service, etc.).

6-10 years of applicable help desk and/or desktop experience required.

Knowledge of metrics, reporting tools, and trend analysis.

Demonstrated expertise with either restaurant or support center technology.

Proven ability to resolve complex, non-routine technical issues.

Strong communication skills to manage escalations and offer technical mentoring to IT support specialists.

HDI, Six Sigma, Project Management and /or other computer related certifications, a plus.
