[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title: Software Release Manager Location: HYBRID IN PHOENIX, AZ LONG TERM CONTRACT Visa: USC / GC / GC-EAD / H4EAD End Client: NOTES : - ITIL Foundations certified || ServiceNow experience preferred || Jira experience || Clarity experience || SDLC understanding || Lead release activities, including readiness reviews, milestone reviews and go/no-go reviews + LOCAL CANDIDATE ONLY . 3+ years release management experience, change management experience and project management experience SDLC understanding ServiceNow experience preferred Jira experience Clarity experience Corporate retail exp erience preferred Demonstrated ability to through verbal and written skills, communicate effectively across all levels of IT Excellent organization skills Proficiency with Microsoft office tools Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and present a professional demeanor Flexible and adaptable to change Negotiation skills and the ability to influence Develop consistent and repeatable Release Management process Coordinate Release Planning Events to help guide the product, delivery, vendor, and project teams Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scopes, schedules, and quality of delivery Measure and monitor progress through multiple environments to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations Plan, maintain and publish the release schedule and release metrics Lead release activities, including readiness reviews, milestone reviews and go/no-go reviews Establish rollout guidelines, risk analysis, release checklists and other documentation and standards Conduct Release Progress Demos and prepare release communication Timely communications for all releases (plans, commitments, changes, etc) Facilitates the scheduling of code deliverables into production environments. Conducts post release reviews Develops, maintains and manages the tools used for release portfolios, release management, planning, time reporting and release metrics. Support Change Management processes and provide back-up support Maintain a release repository to manage build and release information, bug status, communication and notification lists, checklists, progress reports. Drive release process improvement through continual service improvements.
