Rate: $40/hr c2c Our client, Wisconsin Department of Children and Families (DCF), is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst. The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for quality control and testing web applications developed in the Family Support Enterprise Section (FSE) with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) with the state of Wisconsin. They are expected to create test scenarios, test plans, test reports, and track the life cycle of defects. Proficiency with industry standard automation testing suites, regression testing is required. The role may involve testing across multiple projects within the section and is expected to leverage skills and experience to test complex IT systems. The QA Analyst is also expected to provide excellent customer service by driving and facilitating UAT testing processes with the customer. The individual coming into this role must have strong communication skills and be a team player because they will be working so closely with the entire technical project team and may have involvement with business area partners. Tasks Identify and apply best practices. Evaluate software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements. Evaluate program output and reports for accuracy and policies and procedures for quality. Review new or modified application/functionality, including documentation and specifications, to determine if final solution(s) will perform according to user request and conform to guidelines. Recommend improvements or corrections to development team. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Develops RFPs. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Strong analytic and problem-solving skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standards, current and emerging technologies, and business process mapping and reengineering Knowledge of DCF programs Experience with the Wisconsin CARES system Familiarity with State of Wisconsin application systems, procedures, and development standards Complete the skills table below to be considered for submittal.
