Sr. Firewall Engineer (Hybrid) Location: Milford, OH. Duration: 12 + months. Visa, USC, GC, GCEAD. MOI: Skype Must Have: Position Title: Sr. Check Point Firewall Engineer Candidates must be local to Milford, OH, No one outside of Milford, OH will be considered, onsite is required. As a Firewall Engineer, you'll be responsible for the configuration, deployment, and day to day management of our customers next generation firewall solution (Check Point) in a 24 X 7 X 365 environment. Additionally, you'll assist in monitoring, configuration changes, Firewall rule updates, accounts, and software updates while working alongside our team of cybersecurity experts. Full time operational person, hands-on to monitor and support Check Point Firewalls. Key Responsibilities: Maintain day to day firewall operations and continued documenting of the current environment. Execute changes on a daily or weekly basis depending on project workload Incorporate change management into all processes and procedures as outlined by the customer. Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving a wide variety of client issues. Maintain Firewall logging solutions, utilizing syslog-ng. Coordination with local Manager and HR for personnel concerns. And other duties as assigned. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Minimum of four (4) years of experience with managing enterprise firewall solutions. Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Primary experience with Check Point firewall platform. Preferred Skills/Experience: Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA), Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE) (Preferred) or other relevant technical certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional (CCNA, CCNP), etc. Skilled in Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Juniper firewall platforms Prior experience with IT security devices such as F5 Load balancers, site to site VPN and Network IPS Experience with change control policy and procedures.
