Title: Test Engineer Location: Anoka, MN (Work from Office- Hybrid Work) Duration: Contract -Assists in the creation, preparation, and implementation of systems quality assurance reviews. -Review requirement specifications, design documents and any other relevant documents, and provide feedback. -Development and execution of test plans and test scripts. -Interacts with users to share information and clarify instructions. -Creates and maintains basic to moderately complex test plans using templates and guidelines. -Prepares test strategy & test plan document. -Creates simple to complex test cases and test scripts. -Performs simple to complex test data conditioning, regression testing and testing validation. -Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects. -Documents all phases of the Systems QA process. -May provide guidance to less experienced analysts. -Provide updates to Management as required. -Performs other duties as assigned. Desired Qualifications: - 7+ years of IT Quality Assurance and systems/application testing experience. - Experience in leading the team. - Experience reviewing Business requirements and design documents, and create test cases - Experience working with Quality Assurance testing tools, like Test Plan on Azure DevOps, Quality Center/ALM or other Agile tracking tools - Have thorough understanding of SQL and relational database concepts - Thorough understanding of QA methodologies - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail Preferred Skills: - Working in Agile environment - Prior test automation and/or programming experience - Self-motivated and comfortable working with a team or independently - Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate through communication skills - Team player 7-10 years overall experience in IT with 5 years in Quality Assurance field and 3 years in automation. Experience reviewing Business requirements and design documents, and create test cases Experience working with Quality Assurance testing tools, like Quality Center/ALM/ADO (Azure Dev Ops) Thorough understanding of SQL and relational database concepts and QA methodologies Test automation experience using UFT/Selenium/protractor/spec-flow and/or programming experience in .Net/Java Agile environment experience preferred Good exposure to Continuous Integration/Behavior Driven Development(BDD)/ATDD using Cucumber/Specflow/SpecRun Strong verbal and written communication skills High level of attention to detail Demonstrated ability to work in high pace/deadline driven environment Equipment: Laptop will be provided Thanks & Regards, Pradeep Sharma Team Lead IDC Technologies, Inc.
