Title: DPS - UI/UX designer (716665) Location: Columbus, OH-onsite Duration: long term Contract Looking for a UI/UX designer (NOT developer) candidate with an ASP.Net background (NOT Java). This is an On-site role and interviews are F2F/In-Person interviews. DPS is seeking a UI/UX Designer with expertise in designing and prototyping desktop and mobile application - will work with CIMS 2.0 project team to design/develop user interface. The selected Consultant will be directly responsible for designing a modern and intuitive UI/UX and should have direct experience interacting with business users to create the UI/UX. They will work closely with the designated Business Users, IT supervisor, project managers, and other developers in an agile development environment. 11. Strong influence, collaboration, and negotiation experience. 12. Ability to collaborate with supporting resources across business and/or functional lines. 13. Ability to communicate ideas to a wide variety of stakeholders, lead discussions and creative activities, and build consensus while dealing with ambiguity. 14. Ability to lead and manage large design initiatives, including managing competing priorities with product and engineering peers. 15. Have excellent oral and written skills/possess strong meeting and work session facilitation skills. 16. Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines. 17. Have strong understanding of prioritization stemming from the elicitation of system and/or user requirements. 18. Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills. 19. Must be knowledgeable in the English language/speak clearly and understandably use the English language. 20. Provides technical guidance and mentoring to technical staff. Mandatory Skills/Experience 1. 8 Years of verifiable experience in taking user interface requirements and using them to design graphical interfaces in applications. 2. 8 years exp with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (JavaScript frameworks also acceptable) 3. Advanced understanding of site architecture, and designing intuitive user interfaces and navigations. 4. 3 years exp with Designer tools. Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch or a similar tool. An ability to quickly learn new tools as they emerge. 5. 5 years of experience designing and delivering products from start to finish as part of a cross-functional team 6. Exposure to ASP.NET CSharp (C#) language. 7. A demonstrable understanding of implementing secure UI design and coding practices for an ASP.NET MVC application. 8. 8 years of experience developing a project within the AGILE methodology. Desired Skills/Experience 1. UI/UX Certification will be highly advantageous. 2. Knowledge and work experience in designing the user interface of native, cross-platform desktop and mobile apps. 3. Verifiable experience with applications designed and developed in ASP.NET Core MVC applications. 4. Expert level experience of building out conversational workflow diagrams. (Similar to flow diagrams). 5. Expert level experience of working with UI/UX tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch or a similar tool. 6. Ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
