[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title: Software Developer - QA Automation Team End Client: SMBC Bank Visa: GC, USC only Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid role) - Locals only Duration: 12 months+ Exp Level: 5-7 years Interview(s): Zoom Role Objectives: Review user stories planned for the spring and provides user point estimation during sprint planning. Design manual test cases and creates automation scripts for in-sprint testing. Execute test cases either manually or using automation test tool during In-sprint testing. Review test coverage and ensures traceability of test cases to the business requirements. Perform impact assessment of all business requirements and any change to business requirements. Maintain applicable test artifacts (Test plan, test cases, test data automation scripts) per the business requirements or change requests. Provide in-sprint testing progress to the functional test lead and escalate any issues/risks. Qualifications and Skills: Strong knowledge and coding experience in Python/Java to automate test cases for post trade back office and trade flow. Strong hands-on experience in building test automation framework and developing automation scripts using Python or Java Minimum 5 years of experience in application development/automation framework development using Python / Java 5-7 years of working knowledge and ability to develop test automation script for post trade data lineage. 3 years of professional experience working with data sets, writing scripts and SQL Desire to understand Financial / Banking domain. Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or comparable discipline is desirable. Ability to understand complex data flows between various internal and external applications.
