Job Title: PL/SQL Developer with SSIS Location: Columbus, OH (Day 1 Onsite) Job Description : Develop and optimize PL/SQL code: Design, write, and optimize complex PL/SQL code to support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, ensuring high performance and data accuracy. Design and implement SSIS packages: Create SSIS packages to facilitate data integration, data migration, and data transformation between different data sources and destinations. Database management: Manage and maintain the existing PL/SQL codebase and SSIS packages, making enhancements and modifications as needed to address changing business needs. Performance tuning: Identify performance bottlenecks within PL/SQL code and SSIS packages, and implement optimizations to improve overall data processing efficiency. Data validation and testing: Perform thorough testing and validation of ETL processes to ensure data integrity and quality, identifying and resolving data discrepancies and errors. Data modeling and architecture: Collaborate with data architects to design and implement data models that support efficient data integration and reporting requirements. Troubleshooting and support: Provide technical support to troubleshoot data-related issues and ensure the stability and reliability of ETL processes. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for PL/SQL code and SSIS packages, including data flow diagrams, process documentation, and data dictionaries. Data security and compliance: Implement best practices for data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in PL/SQL development and SSIS technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a PL/SQL Developer with a strong understanding of relational database concepts. Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing SSIS packages for data integration. Proficiency in SQL and a deep understanding of performance tuning techniques. Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data analytics tools is a plus.
