AMQ is the open source version of MQ. 6 or more years ex. WebSphere MQ and related product engineering, administration, and support on multiple operating platforms. This includes developing and engineering MQ product solutions for business and application needs. Sound knowledge of WebSphere MQ and related messaging technologies such as WebSphere Message Broker and Crosswords. Understanding of networking concepts. Working experience with WebSphere MQ on multiple operating systems: Windows, AIX, Solaris, AS/400, z Linux , zOS. Experience with product installation, design infrastructure, administration, and troubleshooting product problems with customer/vendors. Experience with MQ Series Clustering and distributed queuing. MQ Series Certifications and/or MQ Series Specialist and/or MQ Series Solutions Expert would be a plus. SMP/E knowledge is a plus.
