Position: Data Warehouse Tester or Data Platform Tester Location: REMOTE Duration: 6+ Months NO OPT NEED PP NUMBER or RECENT i94 JOB DESCRIPTION: 3+ Years of Software Quality Assurance experience on enterprise level applications which includes Data Warehouse Testing. Experience in writing complex SQL queries, Experience in writing complex SQL queries, ability to determine the types of testing that must be conducted (i.e, data validation, regression, etc.), including evaluating the testability of requirements and create a comprehensive test plan that supports the business and technological solutions being delivered. Should have experience testing multiple test phases in medium to large projects. Understanding of information governance principles and how they could apply in a testing capacity. Should have adequate experience and clear understanding of data warehouse and data mart testing. Identification and Test Data Preparation Techniques. Review and understand BRDs/SRDs. Ability to transform complex Business logic into SQL or PL/SQL queries Ability to run, read from, debug batch processes Thorough knowledge of Software Test Life Cycle, Test Case Life Cycle, Defect Life Cycle etc. Creating requirements traceability matrix (RTM) Proficiency with Test Case Preparation and Execution. QA Automation Test tools expertise in Selenium, Test Ng, Cucumber, Appium, etc., Extensive exposure to ETL testing with high-level of SQL skills is required. Should have exposure to large data sets and understand Data Quality Framework. Must have experience in using ETL Tool. Experience in data analysis, including profiling, auditing, balancing, and reconciliation, in an Information technology operating environment. Defect tracking experience (i.e. Jira, Bugzilla, etc) Experience in tuning SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Views, etc for performance improvements Should be detail oriented with analytical mind set. Knowledge of data models and entity relationship diagrams. Knowledge and experience in data masking methodologies - Familiar with Meta Data Management tools Must have the ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changes while maintaining urgency in completing assigned tasks.
