What Youll Do: As a Lead Software Engineer, you will partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers and delivery professionals to develop reference applications for commonly used patterns. Collaborate with product owners in understanding needs and defining feature stories, tech leads in defining technical design and other team members to understand the system end-to-end and deliver robust solutions that bring about business impact. Unit test, integration tests and functional automation, researching problems discovered by quality assurance or product support, developing solutions to address the problems. Bring a strong understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, provide input and coach team members and embed learning and innovation in the day-to-day. Work on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables. Support product owner and tech lead in defining future stories and technical designs. Design and Develop SDKs, Frameworks, Reference implementation, Starter kit to make developers life easier using React Native, Kotlin and Spring boot Java (backend APIs) Excellent in Documentation, designing workflows and architecture diagrams. Understanding of Googles Android Design principles and interface guidelines Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. Vulnerabilities issue fixes, Google and Apple Appstore management, Apple Developer account management Push Notification through Urban Airship Developer advocacy and support developers globally Expertise in Android App Development, Google android standards, best practices, automation testing, performance and unit testing, Fastlane implementation to automate Mobile app build, deploy and distribute. What You Bring: Bachelor of Computer Science or related degree Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges. Can do attitude and strong sense of ownership . Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and adapt to changing requirements. Strong communication skills and attention to details. Ability to coach others with minimal guidance and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts, and perspectives to the benefit of the organization. Strong analytical, communication, problem solving and time management skills. Hands-on developer experience developing end to end web, mobile applications, Frameworks, toolkits and SDK development. Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD). Excellent knowledge of MVC design pattern, dependency injection. Hands on full stack lead developer with knowledge on all Android, IOS Mobile apps and wearable development life cycle. Advanced experience and/or expertise with several of the following: Programming Languages: Kotlin, ReactNative, Java working in distributed systems, object-oriented programming, design patterns and design methodology. OS, Frameworks and Tools: Wear OS 4, JetPack Media 3 , wear OS Media toolkit, multi-device development toolkits, Android Studio, Cross device SDK Experience integrating AppConfig and A/B Testing Application Programming Interfaces (API): Consumption & Development; implementing service-oriented architecture (SOA) patterns; Web service technologies such as APIs, REST, JSON, SOAP, XML, JDBC, MySQL Unit, interface and end user testing concepts and tooling (functional & non-functional) Automation and performance testing Accessibility awareness and implantation for Mobile Apps Software security skills including secure coding, web application security and DevSecOps; Solid grasp of security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signature, JWT), SSL, web service proxies, firewall, SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0) Dev Ops Tools & Practices: Branching techniques and usage of GitHub, Bitbucket or Subversion; DevOps, Jenkins Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Monitoring and logging techniques like Nagios, Splunk and Dynatrace Front end development: Deep years of relevant experience to client-side technologies including Kotlin, ReactJS, React Native, JavaScript, ES5/ES6, JSON, REST, TypeScript, ES6, NPM, Bower, Gulp, Grunt, Webpack. Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as touch. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks. Backend development: Experience/understanding working with backend technologies including Spring Boot, Java, Groovy, Maven. Preferred Qualifications: Expertise in Native Android Development Architecture Patterns Design Thinking Nice to have: Certified AWS Cloud professional HashiCorp Value integration is plus. Expertise in ReactNative, Cordova, Swift, Cocopods, Objective C is plus. Experience in Financial industry is plus.
