Role: Sr .Net Developer Experience : (14+ yrs exp is must) Location: REMOTE Duration: 12+ Months Top Skills: 14+ yrs of overall exp., .Net Core, C#, AWS/Azure, CI/CD, Restful APIs, Devops, Jenkins, Github, 5+ yrs in production environment Job Description We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer for our Data Integration Squad. The primary mission of our integration squad is to connect practice management data to all of the downstream people and systems that can use it to contribute to better results for our pets. Our stack is fairly heterogenous in that we have applications written in .Net, Java, and a number of other technologies. We are deployed directly in clinics as well as in the cloud. We leverage PaaS capabilities on both AWS and Azure to get the job done. Our engineers are experienced, dedicated, diverse and extremely clever. Lastly, while we have the backing of an international organization in IDEXX, we operate fairly autonomously, more like a startup. We are looking for someone who can both enhance existing solutions and develop greenfield offerings on behalf of our product partners. Anyway, its a pretty cool space. What You Will Need to Succeed: You have spent 10 or more years building full stack or high scale, mission critical systems. You are proficient with C#, with a good knowledge of .NET, .NET Core and its ecosystems (Experience with Java is a plus). You have deployed applications to a cloud environment, preferably Azure or AWS. You have experience designing RESTful services and APIs. You have strong computer science fundamentals gained through bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience. Preferred Qualifications You have experience with code version control systems. You have knowledge of end-to-end DevOps practices using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins. 5+ years experience working in production environment. Agile experience is a must Java is a plus but not required. In This Role You Will: Design, code, test, debug and document programs based on technical configurations developed by analysts and project teams. Estimate and track time required to complete work, for project budgeting and financial tracking. Develop program designs to meet technical configurations, ensuring that resulting systems will operate efficiently and reliably. Understand business function supported by the application to encompass within design framework. Ensure design integrates with other related systems. Code programs using various programming languages as appropriate. Test and debug programs to finalize and ensure smooth operation. Document program design, coding and other details to guide others in application development, use and maintenance. Support, update and maintain existing systems in response to business needs, system problems or other factors. Coordinate with project teams to design, code, test and document system changes. Coordinate with project team members to define application requirements. Identify business needs, assess available technologies and develop and present solutions. Provide high level of customer service, partner with end users in the resolution of problems or in deployment of new applications. Possibly design system architectures.
