Tasked with designing, implementing and maintaining networks by building modern network configurations and connections, troubleshooting network problems and being able to multitask
Maintain an accurate inventory of Network Infrastructure
Create and update technical documentation to be presented to clients as well as for internal support purposes
Ensure that the IT infrastructure is patched regularly (windows OS/Antivirus/Network devices patches)
Drive detailed network design documentations, and technology migration strategies/integration plans for solutions.
Responsible for the delivery and ensure compliance is met to the regulatory standard by utilizing commercial Network Security / Firewall / TCP/IP / Routing Protocol skills
Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
Technical support for networking such as: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, wireless and security.
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
Monitoring network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the companys security team
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Respond to and resolve alerts and tickets generated from the monitoring system and/or customer requests in a timely fashion.
Maintain accurate time and records in all service tickets as performed.
Support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications and operating systems.
Identify problems and errors prior to or when they occur and log all such incidents in a timely manner with the required level of detail.
Knowledge to Administer systems and servers related to LAN and WAN (e.g. email systems, accounts, workstation ID, IP assignments, computers, security, antivirus, spyware, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring availability of services to authorized users
CCNP or CCNA certified is nice to have
Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar related field
