Position Title: (Business Analyst Land Contractor - Oil & Gas) Work Location: Houston, TX - 77079(Day one Onsite) Job Type: 6 Months contract Interview: WebEx Hire Job Title: Location: Must Have Skills: Oil and Gas Business Analyst Client Interaction Detailed Job Description: Business Analyst role with a focus on Oil and Gas Land processes. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, process improvement, translating business needs into technical solutions, testing, and project support. Experience in Quorum Land suite, On-demand Land, and Land processes essential. Deep domain OIL and GAS along with strong application knowledge on Infra Area. The expected role should play as Business Analyst role working very closely with customers for requirements gathering and analysis. Oil and Gas with land background and understanding of Lease, Joint ventures, division of interest (DOI), working knowledge of Quorum Land suite. Person have working knowledge of Quorum land suite and On demand land etc. Interfacing with business users and key stakeholders to identify process requirements through such activities as workshops, surveys, small group meetings, etc. Identifying opportunities for process improvements that drive reduced effort, lower cycle times, increased throughput, and improved overall process performance. Working with developers and other technical resources to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Assist with testing, training, and troubleshooting for new and existing application functionality. Assist with project prioritization, feature and user story definition, story sizing, User Acceptance Testing, and other system development active. In addition, the land BA should have experience with the Land process for Oil and Gas, including; Managing NRI(Net Revenue Interest) and WI(Working Interest) throughout the well lifecycle. Understand the calculation of royalty payments and the allocation of operational expenses for new and existing wells. Understand the management of leases and mineral rights as it relates to oil and gas production. Understanding of Land applications like Quorum Land suite, On demand Land(Quorum product) and Onbase(Hyland product) is a plus.
