Full Name: Visa: Email: Phone: Location: Relocation: Rate(C2C/1099): Skype Id: Start Job title: API Tester Location: Parsippany, New Jersey - Hybrid Need Locals only Duration: 6+ months Visa: USC/GC/GC EAD Interview Mode: Video Job Description: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience testing web-based and API systems and possess strong attention to detail We are looking for a proactive, collaborative, and results-driven individual who is willing to go the extra mile to meet expectations in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with testing REST and SOAP APIs, understanding of API testing best practices, and experience using tools such as Postman or Insomnia Knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience with database testing, including data validation and performance testing. Experience with MongoDB is a strong plus. Understanding of log analysis and the ability to troubleshoot issues by reviewing log files Experience with test management tools like Microsoft Azure DevOps Test Management At least 5 years of work experience in software development and testing Must have hands-on experience designing and executing functional, GUI, and API tests. - Have a strong understanding of QA methodologies, efficient testing strategies, and modern best practices Understanding of all phases of SDLC (specifically Agile environment) Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and debug issues to get to the root cause Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and management Mandatory Skills: Experience testing web-based systems Experience testing APIs Experience with REST and SOAP APIs Experience with database testing and SQL Understanding of all phases of SDLC (specifically Agile environment) Log analysis and troubleshooting skills Excellent communications skills.
