Your expertise in Loadrunner and Jmeter, along with your experience in Java Vuser for API scripting/simulation, will be essential in stress testing and optimizing Visa's critical payment applications. You will work closely with architects and the development team to ensure proper metrics instrumentation in software components for real-time and remote performance monitoring. Responsibilities: - Utilize Loadrunner and Jmeter expertise to performance test critical payment applications. - Work with the development team to instrument software components for real-time troubleshooting and performance monitoring. - Evaluate, develop, and execute load test tools to stress test Visa's most crucial payment applications. - Performance test APIs, abstractions, and integration patterns to address challenging distributed computing problems. - Define performance strategy and report performance baselines for Go-Lives certification. - Document performance test steps and scripts used during the testing cycle. - Provide mentorship and support to the team on performance testing methodology and execution planning. - Analyze code to suggest optimization techniques. - Collaborate with stakeholders and handle multiple tasks effectively. - Contribute to capacity planning and disaster recovery exercises. - Troubleshoot and resolve performance degradation incidents in the production environment. - Monitor application performance and optimize performance bottlenecks. - Optimize system components (CPU/Memory/Disk/Network & OS/Application software) for resource utilization. - Utilize Load Runner for performance testing, performance monitoring, and performance analysis. Experience: - 8-11 years of experience in Performance Testing and Loadrunner expertise. - Proficiency in Jmeter and Java Vuser for API scripting/simulation. - Understanding and working experience in Mobile performance. - Strong ability to define performance strategy and report performance baselines. - Proven experience in handling multiple tasks and stakeholders. - Excellent documentation skills for performance test steps and scripts. - Familiarity with capacity planning and disaster recovery exercises. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving performance degradation incidents. - Proficiency in optimizing system components for maximizing computer resource utilization.
