Remote Position VISA: H1b & H4ead Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Technical Consultant DevOps Engineer to work as part of a team in designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions across different technologies. The focus will be on setting the infrastructure automation strategy, ensuring efficient operations within the DevOps organization. Responsibilities: Design and implement complex infrastructure solutions following DevOps standards. Develop, test, and maintain SQL Server databases on On-prem infrastructure. Manage application patch management and vulnerability management. Work alongside business analysts and database administrators, utilizing in-depth Oracle knowledge. Design, develop, test, and maintain PL/SQL scripts and REST APIs to support business applications. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently. Develop and maintain databases using Oracle APEX, ensuring stability and efficiency. Ensure data quality, backups, and database security. Utilize integrated development environments like Oracle SQL Developer and reporting tools like Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SAP Crystal Reports. Develop REST APIs using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) for database access and integration with front-end applications. Have a strong understanding of Oracle databases, including ORDS, PL/SQL, SQL, and Core Java skills. Perform Oracle and SQL Server database refreshes using expdp/RMAN. Implement infrastructure and automation strategies for DevOps, collaborating with IT teams. Support applications and systems deployed on-premises and in the Cloud. Identify opportunities for improvement in tools, processes, and services to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Make technical decisions based on system purpose, customer interaction, system goals, and relevant data. Troubleshoot, administer, and automate infrastructure, applications, and database components. Write infrastructure code and automation following SDLC best practices and DevOps standards. Collaborate effectively within the team, demonstrating a willingness to help others and embracing change. Provide mentorship and guidance to system admins and IT technical teams, promoting best practices and operational procedures. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to the role. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Extensive experience in infrastructure design and implementation following DevOps standards. Strong proficiency in SQL Server development, Oracle database administration, and application patch management. In-depth knowledge of Oracle databases, including ORDS, PL/SQL, SQL, and Core Java. Experience with integrated development environments and reporting tools. Familiarity with REST API development and integration. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
