Must have: LinkedIn, DL, and Visa Copy Position: Harvest/PPM Oracle QA Tester Duration: 3+ Months Location: 100% Remote Visa: USC/GC/GCead REQUIREMENTS: As a Harvest/PPM Oracle QA Tester, your main responsibility would be to ensure the quality and functionality of the Harvest and PPM applications, specifically related to the Oracle database components. Your role would involve testing various aspects of the software to identify defects, ensuring that the Oracle database-related features work as intended, and verifying the overall system performance. Quality Assurance Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of Harvest and PPM applications, with a focus on Oracle database functionalities, to ensure they meet the specified requirements and adhere to quality standards. Test Plan Development: Collaborate with the QA team and stakeholders to create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts specifically targeting Oracle-related functionalities. Test Execution: Execute test cases and scenarios, both manually and using automated testing tools, to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues related to the Oracle database integration. Defect Identification and Reporting: Accurately identify, document, and report defects and issues discovered during testing, ensuring clear communication with developers and other team members for timely resolution. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate that Oracle database updates and changes do not negatively impact existing functionality. Performance Testing: Evaluate the performance of Oracle database operations in the Harvest and PPM applications to ensure optimal database performance under various scenarios. Data Validation: Verify the accuracy and integrity of data stored in the Oracle database through systematic data validation tests. Documentation: Maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results, to support efficient collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and resolve any issues found during testing. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and tools, suggesting improvements to the QA process and actively contributing to the enhancement of testing practices. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or experience in a related field Certified as appropriate, in the discipline of practice (Data, Infrastructure, Network, Security, Solutions or Application). Examples include: Oracle RDBMS 6+ yrs of writing and executing test cases, testing tools, and utilities.
