Position: Oracle HCM Cloud Consultant Location : Pleasanton, CA ( DAYONE ONSITE ) Duration: 12 Months JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide support for HRMS including, but not limited to, researching, and resolving system problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Manages projects/process improvement, including the following tasks: apply change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality. Identifies and understands issues, problems, and opportunities. Compares data from different sources to draw conclusions. Uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions. Takes action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences. Uses this data to build project plans and ensure adherence to schedule and other specifications. Utilizes interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals. Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes, and/or major variations from established policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation. Understands and uses qualitative/quantitative measurement and data collection design principles. Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Train clients on new processes/functionality. Build effective relationships both within and outside the department; seek input from and maintain effective ongoing communication with others. Serve as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g., IT, payroll) to define, implement, and support system interfaces. Responsibilities: Advanced understanding of HCM solution modules and concepts such as Core Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Onboarding, Performance Management, and Succession Planning. Perform hands-on configuration setup in Oracle HCM Cloud. Review and monitor interfaces to assure they have run successfully and according to requirements. Work with IT or other HRIS team members to identify, review, research, and correct problems and implement fixes. Coordinates transfer of data to external contacts for services and plan administration. Active in the development, review, testing, and implementation of system and process enhancements or projects including the preparation and review of associated documentation. Provide recommendations to resolve system and process errors; identify opportunities for more efficient or effective ways to perform operations. Use experience and knowledge to consider improvements to the broader HRIS landscape Develop and review user procedures, guidelines, and documentation Lead in the seamless transition of product delivery to business partners Experience Level: At least 5 or more years of HR functional experience required (e.g., core HR, onboarding, compensation, benefits, learning, employee data); preferably for a large multi-state company as an analyst. Advanced experience with HRMS/HRIS systems (Oracle, SAP, ADP, Workday) preferred. Strong experience across Human Resource functions including Data Set-up, Self-Service, Payroll, Benefits, Time and Labor, Workforce Management (UKG Dimensions), and Talent Management. Expert problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong listening skills Solid communication skills with the ability to communicate concepts to both a highly technical audience and to business-oriented leaders. Commitment to the highest level of client satisfaction and responsiveness. Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Projects or other project management software programs. Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint. Advanced-level skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. Advanced level skill in Microsoft Visio or other workflow diagram software programs.
