Position: Sr. Oracle Database Administrator (100% Remote) Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6 + Months VISA- No H1B Job Description: Oracle GoldenGate / active replication setup, implementation and maintenance Oracle Database Performance tuning Oracle Data Guard Responsible for the design, implementation, and support of physical database management structures, as well as database recovery, back-up, security, archiving and conversion strategies. Focuses on enhancing database performance through proactive monitoring, reporting and tuning and provides technical assistance. Collaborates with application development teams on various database issues and takes a lead role in problem resolution. Requires knowledge and experience with designing, tuning, implementing and supporting database management structures (relational, hierarchical, distributed) and their associated platforms. Requires experience in data manipulation, normalization, storage allocation, fragmentation and replication. Proven experience as troubleshooter of database hardware, software and/or communications problems.
