All requests for opening gates, opening data flows should be scrutinized for potential exploitation, data leaks. Customers can be challenged for business need. Deference to policy and process, escalation and appropriate sign off on non-standard asks or potential risky behavior Security and protection of the environment comes FIRST Day to day activities: ACL changes, port vlan changes, port enablement Troubleshooting routing issues, unresponsive devices, end user issues, ACLs Extreme attention to detail in planning, change management, documentation, adherence to process and communication. The bar is very high here as we need to document and show evidence of everything.
