Extensive experience of Always-on and Availability Groups in a multi-site environment. Ensure appropriate jobs are scheduled to maintain nightly maintenance jobs Document of database configuration and on-going management of configuration drifts, continuous review of existing and creation of new database processes and procedures, periodic entitlement reviews. Upgrading and patching Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2016/2019 databases Implementation, administration and usage of industry tools like SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Reporting Services, Idera SQL DM. Knowledge of Microsoft Clustering Services and SQL Server Clusters is a plus. Experience with disaster recovery on SQL standalone and clustered environments is a plus. Development and implementation of database automation solutions and performing quality assurance verification of various database project implementations. Proactive database performance monitoring and tuning, optimization of existing and creation of new database performance monitoring procedures. Nice-to-Have Skills: Eight (8) years of Microsoft SQL Enterprise experience Five (5) years of experience in managing MSSQL clusters. Three (3) years of combined experience using enterprise SQL monitoring tools. Three (3) years of experience writing documentation or standard operating procedures related to database administration.
