Your responsibilities will encompass software development, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and reporting progress. Collaboration with systems engineers and the Core Information software development team will be essential. Candidate Requirements: Education & Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Computer Engineering (BSCE), or Computer Science (BSCS). College graduates with 2-4 years of relevant experience through projects or internships will also be considered. Technical Skills (Required): 3 years of development experience using C++ and/or C programming languages 3 years of development experience with Linux kernel & Linux device drivers Prior experience with embedded software development, design, and architecture Technical Skills (Desired): Familiarity with Agile methodologies Experience with GIT configuration management tool Ability to read electrical schematics Scripting skills using Python Knowledge of RTOS development (e.g., Free RTOS) Experience with Ethernet, TCP/IP, and WiFi Proficiency in CAN, J1939, and other data link protocols Application of Design Patterns and Object-Oriented programming Development of Unit Tests and Test Driven Development Usage of debugging tools for embedded systems (e.g., Lauterbach, GDB) Soft Skills (Required): Strong teamwork abilities Effective verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office for producing specifications, reports, and test plans.
