On c2c Must Be Local To Bay Area And Must Have Vehicle To Commute Between (Ready To Travel Between Fremont, Lodi, Sunnyvale) The Network Engineer is responsible for assisting team members to design, architect, and test various Cisco products. The Network Engineer will lead and drive multiple projects in the Cisco network (ISE, LAN, and wireless domain) and will be responsible for delivering the projects based on timelines. The Network Engineer will also attend and expand his skillset by continuous learning and will be responsible for driving innovation. This position is part of the Infrastructure and Operations group and will be located on site in Sunnyvale, CA with Travel between different centers occasionally .At the infrastructure and operations group, we aim to deliver consistent, scalable, and reliable services to our end users and external customers. The network team within the infrastructure and operations organization is responsible for providing reliable network services and keep innovating on behalf of the end users and various business teams. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Assist with plan, design and test Cisco LAN, ISE, DNAC, TACACS+ and wireless architecture and make sure that build is as per the document. Interact with a diverse client base and work collaboratively with others, learn and support new deployments and technologies, automate and improve processes and fix problems as they arise. Plan, design, and document network segmentation strategy and build it. Configure & orchestrate based on best practices and business use cases. Need the ability to work during off hours for maintenance and escalated issues. Improving the overall ISE, wireless and LAN infrastructure utilizing various Cisco features. Create templates and procedures for quick and efficient deployment. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline. 2+ years of proven experience in a network engineer/administrator/architect role, managing and building a complex network. Assist in architecting and developing system architecture, design, and develop software for Cisco ISE, switching, routing and wireless networks. Strong experience with LAN routing protocols OSPF and BGP. Experience with network segmentation, network security, ISPs, LAN and wireless implementations. Strong ability and desire to learn new technologies and capability to drive innovation are absolute must. You must be motivated, driven and a team player.
