This is a hands-on engineering role the requires extensive experience with design and development of scalable infrastructure services leveraging containerization technologies in the public cloud. Mandatory Skills: 1. Kubernetes (Primary Skill): - Proficiency in developing Helm charts and deploying applications into Kubernetes. - Experience building Kubernetes clusters and in-depth knowledge of its internals, including networking, exposing services, and configuring ingress controllers. - Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage K8s/EKS clusters and workloads effectively. 2. Terraform Enterprise (Primary Skill): - Proficiency in developing and maintaining Terraform code to deploy AWS resources. - Solid understanding of Terraform workings and experience using HashiCorp Vault or similar tools. 3. CICD Pipelines (Jenkins or similar): - Experience designing complex scripted multi-stage pipelines, maintaining, and supporting such initiatives. - Proficiency in running/maintaining Jenkins clusters with multiple pipelines in Kubernetes or any other container orchestration platform. 4. AWS: - Good experience and understanding of core AWS infrastructure services, including VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, etc. - Familiarity with IAM permissions and their application in AWS environments. - Experience with EKS, including designing, building, maintaining clusters, deploying, and managing workloads. Good to Have: - Intermediate or above language skills in Python. - Having the following certifications is a plus: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Certified AWS Architect Certified AWS Developer Key Responsibilities: - Work independently and deliver high-quality code based on given requirements. - Collaborate effectively as a member of a team and participate in architecture and design discussions to produce robust requirements. - Interpret requirements and code to encourage re-use and maintainability of solutions. - Utilize in-depth knowledge of underlying technologies to build optimized and efficient code. - Thrive in an agile-based environment and provide regular feedback during team stand-up calls. - Participate in code release and production deployment, demonstrating a proactive approach to bug fixing and troubleshooting.
