Role: Lead data engineer Location: Atlanta, GA Type: Contract 5+ years of Python application development experience. Must have hands-on experience of at least 3 years on the AWS services specially Lambda, EventBridge, Cloudwatch, S3, DynamoDB, Kinesis, Cloud Formation, Systems Manager, etc. Should know how to deploy the services on AWS using AWS Cloud formation (especially using CDK Stack in python). Must have 3 years of experience on REST API integration using any python framework like Flask, Django, etc. Data Lake hands-on experience of 3 years (using AWS Lake formation, AWS Glue and Athena). 2+ years of experience in Kinesis data stream and firehose delivery stream for real time data integration. Must have at least 3 years of experience on DynamoDB and SQL. Must have experience of working with micro-services. Must know how to debug your code and should be able to think about edge case scenarios. Required Skillset Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, with 4 or more years of experience of software and development experience with a minimum and 2+ years of hands-on experience working and integrating with Cloud technologies. Experience and knowledge in Python v3.6 or higher and Python frameworks, such as Pytest Experience in Continuous Development Continuous Integration and Test-Driven Development. Experience and deep understanding of AWS Cloud tools and technologies, including but not limited to AWS CDK, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, Kinesis, CloudWatch, etc. Experience building micro services and API architecture using FastAPI, Graphql, and Pydantic Experience with VersionOne and GIT (github, Bitbucket or other) Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies Understanding of data engineering, real time streaming, and eventing Candidate must be solutions oriented using rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, probing all sources for answers. Candidate must also have excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management. Candidate must be a self-learner with the ability to pick up new technologies and provide tangible results. Candidate must be reliable, produce quality work, take pride and ownership in their work with high level of professionalism, passion, and a sense of urgency to make things happen. Strong attention to detail and understanding of SDLC and best practices.
