If they have experience working with a consulting company or an MSP that would be really nice to have Job Description: We are seeking an experienced IT Migration Engineer (Contract) to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in ensuring the seamless consolidation of IT infrastructure into a single unified platform such as Azure AD, email migrations to Office 365, Active Directory migration to single domain, Single Sign-On (SSO) setup. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT migrations and consolidation, particularly in Azure environments, and will have a proven track record of successfully executing complex migration projects. Additional experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and ConnectWise Manage and Automate is beneficial and will contribute to the candidate's success in this role. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and execute migration/consolidation strategies for IT systems. Be the lead engineer of the migration/consolidation of email services to Office 365, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to end-users. Drive the migration/consolidation of multiple Active Directory to a single AD Domain, ensuring proper configuration and integration with existing systems. Configure and implement single sign-on (SSO) solutions, enhancing security and user experience. Develop and execute scripting solutions to automate migration tasks and streamline processes. Provide technical expertise and support to troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for enhanced collaboration and communication. Leverage ConnectWise for efficient project management, documentation, and reporting. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to IT migrations and cloud services. Contribute to knowledge sharing and mentoring of junior team members. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as an IT Migration Specialist, with a focus on Azure migrations. Strong expertise in migrating email services to Office 365, including data migration and configuration. In-depth knowledge of active directory migration strategies and Azure Active Directory. Proficiency in implementing single sign-on (SSO) solutions for enhanced security. Extensive scripting experience (Power, Python, etc.) for automation and process optimization. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint migration and integration. Experience with ConnectWise or similar PSA/RMM tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex migration issues. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator, or equivalent, are a plus.
