Job Title : Project Manager Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid On-site) Duration: Long term contract Note: Need consultants on our W2 Job Description : Has 12 years of experience and a BA/BS or MA/MS degree. Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes the progress of the project. Prepares reports regarding the status of the project. Responsible for the overall project performance. Leads strategic planning, budgeting, staffing performance, and staffing selection efforts in response to task requirements. The individual in this role formulates, communicates, and enforces quality work standards. Monitors progress and resolves any identified issues affecting successful product/service delivery. Ensures compliance with all administrative and personnel laws. Understand labor laws and contractual requirements around workforce diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. Serves as primary point-of-contact with the government on contract and program management. Responsible for assigning contractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor personnel, and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates. Excellent people skills. Excellent communication skills (verbal, presentation, and written). Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint. Provides strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff; provides detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission-critical challenges/issues; consults with government (client) to define need or problem supervises studies and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
