Position: Lead Azure Data Engineer Location: REMOTE Duration: 6+ Months NO OPT NEED PP NUMBER or RECENT i94 JOB DESCRIPTION: Skill: AZURE, Spark, Python, Data Bricks, Data Warehouse The Requirements Received a bachelors degree from a college or university or learned things on your own after completed high school Been working within data and data tools for the last 4-5 years If not, how much data experience do you have Worked with tools from Microsoft like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Bricks, or other data movement technologies Was it recently or something you may have done as a class project or something you did for fun Have you used or been exposed to other Azure services like, Key Vaults, Storage, Logic Apps, Function Apps, or things that just make the stuff work If not, no biggie we can teach you, as long as you have a foundation to build from. You have designed data ingestion, storage, and movement functionality in your current role, past role, or just in college Are able to understand a persons needs related to data and then provide a solution that will enable that person to say Wow, that is just what I needed Have be able to save the work that you did and deploy the solution through tools like Azure DevOps The whole check-in, check-out, code merge. Those types of things that keeps the team in sync with what you are doing and what they are doing. Solved a complex problem and people were impressed about the approach and the timeliness that you found the solution Take a large amount of data and merged it together with other large sets of data and people were like, That is awesome that you were able to do that, where did you find the confidence to do that scary thing Read or researched on the Microsoft Modern Data Warehouse concepts Not fully needed but it doesnt hurt to understand what the team is working towards. Have implemented solutions related to complex data or even the simple stuff and your teammates were like, glad we have that person on our team Have provided support on the solution you built and felt like, this is something that I really believe in and love like it was a good friend Jumped into a problem that you did not create and use your talents and abilities to fix the issue and then tell everyone, you see how that works, I did that. Built prototypes for solutions that you had in your head that related to a problem the team faced, so you can show your team and leadership, see this is how it will work. Built a schedule for work you needed to accomplish and communicate to your teammates that this is what I will be doing if anyone needs me. Come up with a solution that was so effective that you felt, they should put me on a cereal box because I am that good. Solved a problem that many teammates were struggling with and then showed them how you did it. Felt that your team and their contributions are what drive your success.
