Worked on audio & video codecs, knowledge at unit/standalone level and integration testing. Multimedia frameworks (Hands on evaluating) - ALSA, GStreamer, etc. Follows application deployment processes to deliver tasks to support the execution of design and implementation of test plans. Supports the team to deliver activities related and test applications by designing, writing and updating test cases and test scripts if necessary. Well versed with Test processes, test planning and test designing. Responsible for preparing various Test Cases, Environment preparation Installation of product and applications , Execution of Test Cases, Raising the bugs, Publishing the Test Reports and close coordination with the development team. Has designed & developed a Test Automation framework. Required Skills / Preferred hands on experience: To own and deliver tested work products for various multimedia, STB and IoT projects. Hands-on testing of Smart TVs or Embedded products in the consumer electronics space (connected devices like STB, Chromecast, fire TV etc.). Testing audio codecs (ADC, DAC, etc.) subjective and objective quality. Multimedia, IOT, Product testing. Scripting and automation - C/C++, Shell scripting, Python. Well versed with evaluation Audio coding standards AAC, DTS, Dolby, etc. and evaluation of audio algorithms running on different hardware platforms. Experienced with setting up a CI system with tools like Jenkins, Docker, bit bucket Hands - on with Multimedia Test Equipment and Tools - Gold wave, Audacity, Audio Precision, Tektronix, VQUAL and MTS4EA Hands - on evaluation with IOT Systems. Good experience on evaluating microcontroller systems with peripherals WIFI, BT/BLE on Linux platforms. Product Testing of IOT System. Intermediate knowledge of streaming protocols (DASH,HLS) and testing Live, VOD, DVR streaming.
