The candidate would provide expert Cloud Automation knowledge to the Network Tribe and deliver automation for our cloud-based network solutions and report to the Manager of Network Engineering. Position Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Akamai) automated network solutions Work in our cloud environment delivering Infrastructure using Terraform, Cloudformation and Deployment Manager Build and maintain automation scripts leveraging Python, Ansible and other automation tools Client and investigate ways to automate toil and manual processes, reducing manual effort and human errors Build and maintain our cloud platform monitoring solutions and dashboards Configure and support our automation tools and platforms Collaborate with the Network Tribe to implement and maintain automated solutions Collaborate with the Network Tribe to automate network problem resolutions (Self-healing) Keep up-to-date with any emerging network automation technologies Maintain and create useful, accessible, network automation documentation that can be shared with internal users, other teams, and auditors. Track and monitor network cost and optimization in ongoing effort to right size cloud based services (Compute, Network, Storage) Enable the business while maintaining strong security posture within network automation best practices framework Requirements: One or more certifications of (Google Cloud Engineer, Google Cloud Developer, Google Cloud DevOps Engineer) 10+ years experience in a Google Cloud DevOps environment 10+ years experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Github) 10+ years experience with automation and development (Python, PowerShell, Go) Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Deployment Manager) Experience with Configuration Management (Ansible) 10+ years experience with Cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure) VPC design, configuration and implementation Experience with Google Cloud services (CLI/Gcloud, Big Query, Looker Studio, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Big Table, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud DNS, Cloud Router, Interconnect, Compute, Persistent Disk, GCS) Experience with AWS services (CLI/Boto3, Lambda, SNS, Cloudwatch, DynamoDB, RDS, Route53, EC2, EBS, S3) Experience working in Agile Scrum Methodology Experience with UI Development Experience building Executive Dashboards Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and deliver against deadlines Experience working in global team environments and solving problems around the world Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
