Responsible for delivering senior level innovative, compelling, coherent software solutions for our customer operations and value chain constituents across a wide variety of enterprise applications through the creation of discrete business services and their supporting components. The job duties and requirements are defined for backend. Provides technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members. Responsibilities: Designs, develop and delivers solutions that meet business line and enterprise requirements. Creates data and reporting infrastructure by building and optimizing production-grade data pipelines using continuous integration/ continuous deployment. Design and implement high-performance data pipelines across multiple source and destination systems, utilising a variety of data technologies. Contribute to our customers business to provide a competitive advantage through data and analytic insight, creating new products and helping more people understand their data better. Alongside building our analytic products, you will be expected to be actively involved in their design, to contribute ideas, and engineer the platform to deliver accurate, engaging analytics and an optimal end-user experience. Requirements: Bachelors Degree required, and a minimum of Eight (8) + related work experience. Should have a domain knowledge/background in Capital Markets Proven ability to design and deliver analytics solutions. A thorough understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Experience with Python, especially regarding data processing and systems integration. Experience developing for one or more BI visualisation platforms. Excels in a rapid iteration environment with short turnaround times. Strong SQL experience, with expert-level skills in query performance tuning and data modelling. Experience designing enterprise database systems using Microsoft SQL Server and a good understanding of alternative types of data and database system. Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS. Knowledge of git version control and collaborative development. Knowledge of server management and a basic understanding of networking. Understanding of the application development lifecycle. Commercial awareness of the value and impact analytics can provide. Curious, self-driven and analytical approach. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, enjoying autonomy and responsibility for delivering projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with all levels and types of colleagues. Collaborative, willing to learn and willing to help others.
